„Obiektywna rzeczywistość subiektywna” – II Konferencja Naukowa “Objective Reality Subjective”

October 12 - October 13

The second SFBT conference will take place in Warsaw on 12-13 of October 2018 (Friday – Saturday).

The event called „Objective reality subjective” is designed for the SFBT professionals, as well as, for people interested in psychological, social and cultural aspects of human development and their ability to change.

Our objective is to present post-modern SFBT’s related concepts of working with clients, including multiple and pluralistic ways to represent reality while working with people. The goal of the therapist or a person working with others using SFBT is not to find an objective truth, but an art of conducting dialog and co-develop the reality’s description in a way it helps our clients. Differences enrich the reality and become opportunities, widening of the reality’s description. The stimuli that reaches us can be described in many ways and still is only a visualization of our perception. The spirit of SFBT can be characterized by Paul
Watzlawick saying „Conviction that our vision of the reality is the only reality, is the most dangerous of all delusions”.

The idea behind the conference is to present the concept of applying different points of view, describing reality, in working with another human being. It should enrich participants’ perspective and understanding of the surrounding reality while being a platform for a dialog and the exchange of ideas.

The conference lecturers bring wealth of knowledge and experience which will be reflected in quality of their presentations.

SFBT in Poland is a reality – thousands of people are successfully implementing the SFBT philosophy. The coming up conference will be a unique opportunity for further skills development and improvement in effectiveness of working with
people.
