I could use a little encouragement tonight

Good evening. Welcome to today’s edition of Solutions Every Day. And today I could use some encouragement. Tomorrow’s going to be a really, really big day. Tomorrow is Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021. And tomorrow is going to be a really big day. I’m going to be hosting, what is turning out to be the largest Solution Focused training event that has ever happened.

We are hosting an online workshop where I’m going to be teaching about how to use Solution Focused Brief Therapy with couples. And we have 3000 people, just over 3000 people, have signed up for this event. And I am, I mean, I’m excited, right? Like I am super duper excited, but I’m also so nervous. When I started teaching Solution Focused Therapy,

for me, it was all about access. This approach requires practice and training and hone your skills and, you know, reading mastery of the language. And I wanted to teach people how to do this. And I wanted to show you how to really master the Solution Focused Approach. And I wanted to help you have access to quality training and do so for free,

because money is a barrier, right? And sometimes I charge for things because I have to make a living. And in order to be the number one distributor of free content, I have to charge a little bit so I can afford to pay my team. But for me, that’s what it’s all about. It’s like increasing people’s access to quality training.

For me, that’s the game. That’s the end. But I never expected for things to go like this. We have hosted events that have had 2000 people sign up. 2500 people sign up. We have hosted the biggest event in this entire field, but the event tomorrow is even bigger than anything else we’ve ever done.

And you know, I was thinking tonight, like, man, I wish I could like get a hug from somebody, man. And I wish I can get an encouraging word, because it’s nerve wracking, cause I want to do a good job so bad. I want everybody who attends tomorrow to really get it and go off into their work and make a difference in the couples that they see.

Like, I can’t tell you how badly I want to do that. I’m about to just like jump in the shower and just call it a night so I can get rest, man. But I know I’m going to lay there for awhile kind of unable to sleep because I just want to do a good job. So, you know, if you guys would please just do me one favor,

just say something kind in the chat. You know, this world is sometimes not always kind. And I get trolls online. I get people saying awful things to me online. I get people Attacking me online. I mean, I get really nice things too, by the way. But tonight’s a night where I just want all of the positive energy that I could possibly get because tomorrow we’re going to do the biggest training that has ever been done in our field.

And I’m proud of that. I’m super excited about that. That means a lot to me to be the person who runs and directs and has founded the largest training organization in this field. Like that means a lot to me, but what means more to me than anything else is I want to do a good job, I’m going to deliver. And I want to make sure that people who attend get something out of it so that they can make a difference in the lives of the clients that they see in because tomorrow is about couples.

So they make it make a difference in the lives of the couple that they see. So I’m going to be, you know, showing you guys my, my very best, most innovative things. I’m going to show you my current thoughts. So I’m going to show you the topics that are going on in my life right now. I’m going to show you guys kind of what’s happening for me.

And I’m going to really take you in to where we are in this approach these days. I’m going to show you a video example of me working with a couple that I’ve never shown publicly before, You guys won’t believe the transformation that happens in this couple’s life. So I’m going to show you an example of me working with a couple that has no one’s ever seen before.

And I’m going to give the 3000 people. I’m going to give them a workbook that I wrote that will help their work with couples and all of it for free. By the way you get all of this for free. All you have to do is show up and I’ll give you the workbook. And you’ll see me work with a client.

And you’re going to hear my most current and innovative thoughts. It’s going to be 60 minutes. We’re going to do a Q and A. So it could go as long as 90 minutes. And you know, I’m going to blow you away and all of that for free, you don’t have to pay a thing. All you gotta do is sign up with your email address or the people who have signed up.

You sign up with your email address, email address, and first name, and thing’s going to be pretty good. Yeah, I thing’s going to be like, you know, the, the biggest thing I’ve ever done and the biggest thing anybody’s ever done. And I hope it’s the thing that makes the biggest impact on you and your work.

If you haven’t signed up yet, the easiest place to go to sign up, just go to my website, go to www.elliottconnie.com. Spell my name with two L’s and two T’s www.elliottconnie.com. Scroll down to the bottom. There’s a red banner across the bottom, and you’ll be able to sign up and join the during the event. I’ll try to put,

I’ll try to remember to put the link in the description for this video. When I post it after I’m done going live here, but just do me a favor. I would love it. If you guys watching this live, if you could just post just a kind word, just something supportive or encouraging, and then I’m going to go to bed and I could wake up to just some more kind encouraging words.

I actually feed off positive energy. I feed off giving positive energy and I feed off getting positive energy because that really drives me and motivates me. And there’s never been a thing that I’ve taught in my entire career where I wanted it to have been at my best more than I want to be at my best tomorrow, because there’s going to be 3000 people from all over the world,

like I can’t believe it. I’m absolutely shocked. No one’s ever done a training this big in our entire field. And I want to be there. I want to over-deliver. I want to go super-duper big time for you guys. I want to show up and show out. I want you guys to walk away, being blown away, being inspired and being informed on how to do this work with couples.

So anyway, I’m going to go to bed. Now, I’m going to, I’m going to jump in the shower and just kind of decompress. And I just want to feel your global positive energy to help me be at my best during this event and show up and show out for all the people who are going to be there. You guys are amazing.

So thank you from the bottom of my heart, being supportive, being a follower, for pushing me, holding me accountable, encouraging me, supporting me, signing up for things. And thank you guys for helping me make this the biggest training event that we’ve ever done in our field. And I’m going to, I’m going to knock your socks off tomorrow, but first I have to get some rest.

Look, guys. Thank you. I’ll see you in the next video and thanks for the love. Show love, show love, show love, show love.
