Reflecting on the Good Times During the Holidays

Ever since I was young, Christmas has been my favorite time of year, because it was filled with so much joy. I remember my mother used to sit in the living room and she would watch a black and white movie called, Miracle on 34th Street, every Christmas. And then I developed my own habits of watching National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story, and I would see my mother laugh and have fun.

I would expect and anticipate the joy and laughter when I came to my home all through the Christmas season. I would hope for Christmas gifts. I would make a list. And it was weird ’cause I knew I wouldn’t get them, but I would hope that I would get them, and usually did get something on that list. It was just amazing in those moments.

Now I look back, and my childhood was certainly rocky at certain times, but I certainly remember those happy moments that happened around this holiday season. And I wanna wish everybody the opportunity to look back on their lives, and enjoy the joy you experienced.

Even if you had a rocky time at different points in your life. There’s still times where laughter and joy came into your life, and I think that’s what the Christmas season is all about. I think that’s what this time of year is really all about, creating moments that can be memories forever, where there’s joy and laughter and dreams of a better future.

I really can’t believe the way life has gone, and I’m in a space of so much gratitude, and I’m really thankful for you. 2023 has been a long and difficult year for a lot of us, me included. But I’ll bet if you look back on your year, you’ll find happy times, moments of joy and excitement when things happen that put a smile on your face. And this time of year is a time to look back, collect those times, and allow them to affect you positively.

I’m so grateful that you have been in my life throughout this year. I don’t know where I would’ve been without you. Your support, your warmth, your love, your connection means the world to me. That’s the gift you’ve given me. So I wanna wish you a happy holiday season, a merry Merry Christmas. And please, I hope that you have all the love and joy and happiness that your life can handle.

I love you. Thank you for supporting this blog series, this video series, my work. And we are only just getting started. I’ve got some amazing things coming up in the new year. I’ve got amazing things coming up soon, but for now, I just wanna say thank you, and Merry Christmas.

I love you.
