If SFBT is not a strengths-based approach, then what is it?

A few months a I posted something on my blog that explained my belief that the Solution Focused Approach as not being stregnth-based. This post prompted many people to send me emails and responses to that post on my social media platforms asking, “if it is not strengths-based then what is it”?
